According to the 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans, most people would benefit from increasing their dairy intake in fat-free or low-fat forms. This includes yogurt, cheese and milk, so this healthy smoothie is a great way to start!

Total Time: 5 minutes


  • 1/2 banana, frozen
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 3 large or 5 small dates, pitted
  • 1/3 cup vanilla milk
  • 3 – 4 frozen milk or ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter


  1. Place all the ingredients into any standard blender and blend until smooth. This smoothie can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for extra thickness and creaminess.
