Healthy Take on a Shamrock Shake

Total Time: 10 minutes


  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint
  • 1 cup unsweetened soy milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure mint extract
  • Whipped cream, optional
  • Mini chocolate chips, optional


  1. If you don’t already have frozen bananas, slice up two ripe bananas and throw them in the freezer for an hour or two.

  2. Add bananas, spinach, avocado, mint, soy milk, vanilla and mint extract to blender.

  3. Blend until smooth.

  4. Top with whipped cream and mini chocolate chips, if desired.
