Food Fact

Nutritious dairy foods, like the yogurt in this pudding, begin at the farm where dairy farmers carefully tend to their land and animals every hour, day and week of the year. Ohio’s dairy farmers care for the state’s 261,000 cows and calves by providing medical care, comfortable living conditions and healthy diets made with ingredients like soybean meal. In fact, about 98 percent of U.S. soybean meal is used to feed livestock because it makes such a great protein source.

Total Time: 10 minutes

  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cup raw cane sugar, coconut sugar or white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt

  1. Place avocado in food processor or blender and pulse for about 10 seconds. Add in all other ingredients and pulse until mixture is smooth. You may need to start and stop the processor a few times to scrape down the sides, making sure all of the avocado is mixed well.

  2. Place pudding in cup(s) and in the refrigerator for 10-20 minutes, allowing pudding to set up a bit.

  3. Enjoy!
