In fact, The Buckeye State is a strawberry hotspot, ranking tenth nationally for strawberry production. Ohio farmers go far beyond berries, though. Food and agriculture combined are the state’s number one industry, employing one in every eight Ohioans.

Recipe Note: These measurements make enough for 4 servings, but you can adjust the proportions to your preference in taste and size. If pecans and almonds are a little out of your price range, you can substitute them for a more affordable alternative like sunflower seeds.
Toast pecans and almonds until fragrant and lightly browned. Cool completely.
Combine all salad ingredients in a large bowl.
Toss with dressing and serve immediately.
